Comments: I fail to see how the £7000 and two years i have spent on my marketing degree can be adequately or fairly expressed when I am presented with such a clustered exam timetable. Very much hope this doesn't come up next year!

Comments: I wish to sign this petition as i feel this amount of exams in sucha shirt space of time affects my grade dramatically as my health. Revising for exams then going straight into another one in less than 24 hours is exhausting mentally and physically. We all want a good grade and this time table limits this. I strongly ask for a wider spread time table next year.

Comments: I am signing this petition as I feel that there was inadquate timing between exams this year and last. I feel that it has influenced my performance and effected me both mentally and physically but hopefully this will not affect my overal grade this year.

Comments: having so many exams in such a short space of time is exasperating, by the end of them it is very difficult to to try and take in and process any more information as well as added

Comments: As a business and marketing student having six exams puts us all with a lot of stress and pressure. Subsequently may not be able to perform to our best within the exams. This is a big issue and needs to be addressed for our final years.

Comments: There should be at least 1 or 2 days before each exam. Even if that means extending the exam period, I think many people would prefer this.

Comments: The timetable is a complete joke, 5 exams in 7 days seriously hinders the ability to perform at a high standard in each.

Comments: I understand the difficulty of allocation of exam timetables. But feel with being on the Marketing course, having 6 exams in 8 days 2 years in a row has been very stressful, in comparison to others on similar courses having large gaps between exams to refocus. I cannot see how it is fair to put this sort of pressure only on selective group of students..two years in a row.

Comments: My overall grade for this year has been undoubtedly compromised by a joke of a timetable following last years, which was equally unacceptable. I'm certain that i will have to pay for one retake, which would not have been the case had I had a half-decent timetable!

Comments: With the exam timetable that was provided I don't think it would come as a surprise to anyone if we were to find that this hindered our overall marks as whilst we had a number of weeks to revise, there was very little time available in which we could move from doing one exam to preparing for the next before we had to sit it. In addition, shortly before sitting the exams I was diagnosed as having Costochondritis. Whilst the concentrated exam timetable did not cause this issue, I found that sitting at an exam table so frequently for these long periods of time caused my symptoms to exasperate. In future I think that all of the students on the course would benefit from a less intense exam timetable.

Comments: This timetable caused me serious health problems. My exam results will be highly influenced by stress, not sleeping enough and too much caffeine in my body. I would do 2-3 times better if we were given at least one day gap between exams. I believe many students couldn't get enough sleep at all as well. By the last exam on 16th of May I was already shivering and vomiting. Also, I have flesh-wounds on my fingers and arm from writing up to 20-25 pages a day. This timetable really need to be changed! It's causing serious health problems and is affecting our marks!!!
