Comments: This particularly poses a problem for students who have Contracts small group- while the other students have only two exams per week over 3 weeks, we have 5 exams in the first two weeks. With only 3 days to prepare we are at a major disadvantage.

Comments: Even undergraduates get 1 full week + weekend between the time classes end and exams begin. It is pretty unreasonable to expect that within three days (Friday to Sunday) students will have finished their humungous reading loads, case briefs and maps for 5 exams.

Comments: More exam preparation time would certainly be helpful, especially for this year when the weekend coincided with Easter.

Comments: Given the fact that these examinations are determinative of our entire mark, and that there are various religious holidays that almost always coincide with the examination period, giving us no class time off to actually study was extremely burdensome.

Comments: The use of Examsoft creates particular need for business days between the end of class and the start of the exam period. Those who did not receive the emailed exam templates over the weekend could not address the problem, or in many cases were not even aware there was a problem, until moments before the start of their first exam. This left no time for the administration to help these students, and led to an enormous increase in stress.

Comments: During my undergraduate degree we always had a week off between classes ending and the start of exams and it really helped a lot in being able to properly prepare. It is hard to study for an exam on a Monday when you have readings for class on new material up until Thursday. For all the hard work we do throughout the entire year, it would be helpful to have some time to properly prepare for the examination period.
