Comments: I have read all the legal documents on this case as well as all available information on the criminal conviction of the Banks. This is an outrage that this adoption was finalized. In addition, the home study provider who provided information to the court should be investigated.

Comments: How can the best interests of a child possibly be served by adoption granted to convicted child traffickers with a documented history of dumping three of their other adopted children? Utah! Where is your outrage?

Comments: What is the mindset of "parents" in this scenario? I don't understand why they want to adopt when they are not able to care for a child properly. Does their past history not mean a thing?

Comments: This is criminal! The family that originally adopted this child wants her back - yet the Banks refused, and then want to adopt her themselves? They should not be allowed to adopt any children based on what they did to their previously adopted children.

Comments: Allowing Scott and Karen Banks to adopt another child is a direct insult to all adoptive parents, adoptive children, and Chinese bio-mothers. Amelya's AKA Amanda Mei Banks's, this is a Chinese bio-mothers NIGHTMARE! What ever happened to "parents as role models"? Amanda Mei Banks will discover her "adoptive story" and it will be a very sad day for her. She will know about other Banks adopted children and how they were treated in the Banks home. She will know that her parents Scott and Karen ran an unethical adoption business out of Western Samoa. That families were torn apart for money. That children have suffered because they live in the United States when their real families are thousands of miles away, their heritage is lost. Amanda Mei Banks will read People Magazine, Reader's Digest, and catch the comments from 48 Hours on her "adoptive parents". Her parents are on probation, they were convicted and are to be paying into a trust for their wrong doings to families of Samoa. Amanda Mei Banks will find out that her parents used her as a part of their "plea bargain" to stay out of prison. The worst of all of this is that the Romanian children, suffered, that their voices were not heard in time. They, innocent children, suffered in vain. How a judge could ignore the affidavits of these children is beyond belief. This is not an "honorable" judge. So they throw another innocent child in the "lion's den". I pray for this little girl. She does not deserve this dreadful sentence, she has no choice like the Romanians had no choice. Judge, people do not change, these people will not change. This case was dragged out in Utah, just like all the bio-logical fathers cases in Utah. Utah, your not a child advocate state.
