We, the Citizens of the United States of America, stand together in recognition of the troubling economic conditions which are currently adversely affecting the Working Class, Disabled, and Retired Citizens of our Nation along with all other areas of the Private Sector of the United States of America. We also recognize that the current crisis’ are largely and mostly the results of fiscal irresponsibility and gross mismanagement of Tax Payers’ moneys, along with “Pork Barrel” politics, and other abuses committed by Government Agencies and/or Elected Officials. We, as U.S. Citizens, Tax Payers, and Registered Voters, exercising our reserved rights referred to as “Initiative” and “Referendum”, do hereby request an Act be drafted and passed into Law that would immediately Reduce, by the amount of 20%, all compensation, including but not limited to Salaries, Pensions, and other Government provided benefits, for each and every office that is included in the Legislative Branch of the United States Federal Government.

Along with the above mentioned reduction, we do also hereby request, within the same Act, that Law be passed requiring ANY and ALL future Pay/Compensation increases for U.S. Legislators be placed on National Election Ballots AND that a minimum 51% Majority Vote be required before such pay increases could be granted to Federal Legislators and also plainly stating, “Any attempts to grant Federal Legislative Compensation increases without National Voters’ consent via ballot, election, and 51+% votes in favor of the proposed increase will be unlawful. Any and All violators will be subject to prosecution”.

As signers of this Petition, we all understand that the primary objective of this Petition is to gather support in order to have an Act drafted and placed on the next possible Election Ballot across the United States, to be voted on by all Voters in EVERY State in the United States of America, to force a reduction in Pay/Benefits for all U.S. Legislators and to remove a current corrupted system that allows Legislators to increase their own compensation without the consent of U.S. Citizens.
