Comments: For 13 years Wine has allowed me to run Linux in corporate environments where Windows was "required." While I'm not much of a gamer, thanks to those who are; the money you pay to Wine developers (Codeweavers and such) and game developers who use it to publish their titles helps make Wine better and better.

Comments: Linux/Mac elitest ts need to get over the use of wine. If wine can bring the game over at native speeds let them. It saves them time and money to use wine. I support wine and I am happy to sign this.

Comments: I use Mac and sometimes Linux and I think it's great to use Wine and have it to run windows programs. There are many programs that can use Wine and run just fine. Please keep that in mind, we appreciate it ;D

Comments: Got Linux Mint 8 installed on my new Ferrari 200 neotobk. Everything seemed to work out of the box except with the wifi. I played around with the router and the nic manager and found that changing my router to G only and replacing the network manager with wicd fixed the problem with wireless getting dropped. I had tried the Ubuntu Netbook Remix and it would just freeze up way too much for the amount of memory this llittle notebook has. Linux Mint works much better on this little machine.

Comments: I have realized some new points from your internet site about pc's. Another thing I've always thought is that computers have become a product that each house must have for several reasons. They supply you with convenient ways in which to organize households, pay bills, go shopping, study, pay attention to music and in some cases watch television shows. An innovative technique to complete many of these tasks has been a mobile computer. These pc's are portable ones, small, robust and easily transportable. jordan 10

Comments: I believe Wine is a decent alternative for game, productivity, and even data tracking programming, so long as the dependencies of the programs on proprietary, non-translated code are kept to a minimum, and wine is kept widely compatible across systems. If there was a single, universal environment (similar to X.ORG with less variation across systems) that was the focal center for wine development, it would make it much easier, but it might prove less effective or less compatible. However, the current State of Wine is still limited, and not completely compatible with all WINX-apps for each unix-like OS. Some systems work better with it than others, and we'd all like to see massive portability across systems... ...I just believe, that even with all the overhead, it makes the choice of system irrelevant to the choice of software. Pricing and capability go hand in hand, and it brings more capability to the higher priced mac, as well as the open-source Linux, making the hardware the only relevant choice in the matter.
