   Comments: You are to be commended for taking possession of Ned last fall, and giving him six months of loving care in a natural environment, but it wa too late. The scarring of his digestive tract from stress-induced ulceration could not be reversed. Please do not wait to end the documented abuse of these three suffering individuals.

   Comments: The USDA has rescued numerous elephants over the years. Some were rescued too late (like Lota) while others are living long and happier lives. Please make the latter the case for Tina, Queenie and Jewel.

I find it appalling that this barbaric practice is being allowed in america.     Comments: Tina, Queenie, and Jewel have been thru the bowels of hell for too, too many years in the circus ring of entertainment but at whose expense…They are worn out , literally and the kind of treatment they have received should not be heaped on any living thing.. When you confiscated Ned from his owner in Florida, it was just too late for poor Ned….Please don’t let these elephants get to death’s door before you choose to do something to help these animals that are certainly not in a position to help themselves…I have all ready e-mailed my congressman, my senator and my governor and I will continue to write or call whoever I have to to try to get some results…This is unbelieveable that we are so insensitive to such cruel abuse that this has continued as long as it has…I beg of you to take action on this horrendous crime that is being committed against these animals…

These beautiful animals deserve to retire, they have more than paid a debt they did not owe! Let them find sanctuary now before they pay with their lives. Give them an opportunity to regain their health and enjoy their remainder of their lives as just being an elephant . They have provided enough time as being a source of entertainment for people.
