Andover Parental Action Committee for Safe Schools:
The purpose of APACSS is to complement and support the efforts of school administrators, law enforcement, other organizations, and state and local leaders to help ensure that the students in the Andover, Kansas school system (USD 385) are able to realize their full potential in a safe and secure school environment.
Of primary concern to APACSS are the need for additional School Resource Officers, restricting open access to our children's schools, and developing even better ways to communicate safety plans and security events/breaches.
The undersigned parent agrees to work to remove any budgetary or implementation roadblocks to keeping our kids safe and petitions USD 385 to put the above concerns as Priority #1 for the district by ensuring a timely implementation schedule and budget resource priority.
