We ask that the Executive Committee consult with the membership on these major impact areas, provide the rationale for the decision and include us, or relinquish that authority to the membership.Flag

It would be a shame to lower the age for bowlers that were in collage and the only time they could bowl would be on a weekend league with their younger counter-parts looking up to them.Flag

We are trying to build up our local youth leagues. We know that there are other USBC associations, which are trying to do the same thing. This change affects us greatly, due to the fact that we are located within 20 miles of the University of Arkansas and will lose some of our youth bowlers. We also feel that it would be a loss for our younger bowlers, since they learn techniques from the older youth bowlers. Please reconsider changing back to 21 years of age.Flag

My daughter has been bowling since she was seven and has finally started to reach some of her goals. We found out about this two days ago. Not only would it be her last day of bowling with all of the friends she has made but it is also her 19th birthday. Nice birthday present. She bowls on Sat mornings and comes home early on Friday nights so she is off the streets when others are out getting into trouble or hurt in accedents. She is very upset upset I hope you will reconsider.Flag

The "adults" failed to understand the importance and need for youth bowling programs not only to the bowling community but to society as a whole. The destruction of the Youth Bowling programs have the same effect as the destruction of other youth driven programs.Flag

We just found out about the age being decreased. I am totally against it. The kids, even at 19 are not ready for adult leagues and still should be allowed to earn scholorship money.Flag

I am only 16 years old and i am not ready to bowl for money. I am still a rookie in bowling. When i graduate from high school i will be 19 and would like to still bowl on a junior league until i am 22 or 23 to get the money. The note that i got by my coach. The letter is just wrong. So please let us decide how old we want to be. Before being a professional bowler.Flag
