Calling for a U.S."TRUTH & RECONCILIATION COMMISSION"
To address the unconditional release of U.S. held Political Prisoners.
We the, undersigned, demand that the U.S. Congress do everything within it's Congressional power to complete the unfinished business of the "Church Committee Hearings". We demand Congress convene an independent "Truth & Reconciliation Commission" to address the criminal misdeeds and abuses of the U.S. intelligence agencies in general and COINTELPRO in particular. Specifically as it pertains to the Civil Rights/Black Liberation Movement era.
We seek restorative justice and the immediate release of all of those who put their lives on the line for freedom and justice and thus have been languishing in prisons across America due to their political activities, associations and views.
