Comments: There is NO evidence to support the premise that the continued import of Boa, Python would negatively impact the economy, environment, or human or animal species health. This bill has zero grounds. And as a community we need to stand together and get this rediculous bill H.R.669 to remove these species of reptiles. Sincerly Adam Clarkin ps. we do not stand alone

Comments: If this bill is allowed to pass where will it end. What will be next? Our dogs? Our Cats? All domesticated animals? This kind of bill is dangerous to us all as citizens.

Comments: I personally own, breed/sell, and rescue reptiles from geckos to tortoise and ball pythons. I find it appalling tjat because of mistakes made by a minority of reptile owners all should be targeted and threatened with revoking our rights to own exotic reptiles such as boas and pythons. To pass this ban would only lead to a more ridiculous ban on other pets as well. If a ban were placed on these reptiles it would be more likely for people to panic and release their reptiles into the wild or dump and abandon them out of sheer desperation. Why create more of a problem than already exists? These snakes can be responsibly kept, bred, sold or traded.

Comments: Help stop the government from making another decision for us. Big brother, now, wants to tell us what animals we can and cannot own. The Lacey act is prohibiting the owning of exotic snakes such as the burmese python and anaconda. I may not be an owner of one of these beautiful animals, however, it is not my place to tell someone else that they can't and i believe it isn't uncle Sams either(not when the animals are propely cared for). Today, it's the burmese pythons and tomorrow it could be my green tree python, rainbow boa, or even my beautiful bald cockatoo, Frosty. Thats right with this ban, today it'll be large snakes and tomorrow it could be your birds and small mammals. Uncle Sam is trying to take away what makes me and so many others happy, our animals. I understand the problem causing the contraversy, but don't punish those innocent. If this bill passes it will require the destruction of so many not only animals, but pets. It will become a death sentence for those that we care for and love. Please take the time and not only sign, but also pass this on. Doing so will ensure to keep these animals around to be beautiful wonderful pets for those who love them now and for years to come. I hope you sign, share, and learn more about this issue that is happening now.

Comments: Ball Pythons aren't risky because they don't grow that big. Other bigger species should be limited, however, because people release them into the wild and they are in competition with native species of Florida's Everglades for scarce resources...
