Reading the evidence published so far, this sentence is out of kilter completely. It needs to be appealed as a matter of urgency and to be fully open for all to see. Nothing less is a travesty of fair play to all . As an ex Serviceman, I am disgusted completely.

I am currently drafting a formal letter to the Ministry of Defence to demand a transparency review of the sentencing process. The legal documentation we have gathered is being compiled for submission to the Judge Advocate General office.

My husband served and we are in total shock over this. Completely unfair treatment for a genuine hero.
SGT Nightingale is a legend. Get him out and back with his family where he belongs.
Absolute disgrace. This man has given everything for his country and this is how he gets treated? Sort it out.
Why is this happening to him?? He put his life on the line and this is the thanks he gets. Disgusting.
Ridiculous sentence. The system has failed him completely.

Total farce. The army should be backing their own not throwing them to the wolves. Shameful.
