Comments: Exorbitant fiduciary fees are just the tip of the iceberg. Please also address the practice of private conservators and public guardians imprisoning and isolating conservatees. This practice is common throughout the state. There is no remedy at law. My mother (Carol Hahn) was isolated for over a year. She is still imprisoned and denied medical care. Cops tell me this is a civil matter. The DA said, “There is nothing out of the ordinary.” The probate court ruled that I do not have standing to sue until my mom dies. Gisela Riordan was imprisoned and isolated for over two years. Lille Sclaia was imprisoned and isolated for over a year. Maria Jordanou was imprisoned and isolated for her last month of life. She died believing that her family had abandoned her.Flag -

Comments: STOP THE CRIMINALS, the unethical LAWYERS, JUDGES and FAMILY MEMBERS, Lawyers can force people to pay them their life savings. I know my own sister is stealing from our mother, and used conservatorship to hide theft of over $200k. Lawyers and family members PERJURE petitions and then DIS-HONEST JUDGES won't remove them or revoke the perjured petitions, allowing legal stealing, murder and abuse.Flag -

Name: Jorge Anderson PhD on Jan 22, 2013Comments: Please heed as though their concerns do not matterl end this waste fraud and abuse in California. We need this to stop and stop now. The wards need more rights and not to be treated like their thoughts and opinions matter. They are human beings and not chattel property. The legal scam to place these victims into expensive guardianships is shameful.Flag

Name: Larry Matthies on Jan 23, 2013Comments: It is our moral responsibility to make changes in our probate system. Guardians and conservators are ignoring the rights of our elderly for the benefit of themselves. To put our elderly in care homes against the will of the conserved and there familys is moraly wrong. In 2003 my father became a victim of the fidiciary "feeding frenzy". My fathers conservator sent petiton after petition of lies so that her and her attorney could rack up outrageous charges. She cashed out my fathers life insurance and refinanced his estate with an outrageous 12% loan neglecting her fidiciary duties to conserve and manage his finances properly .My father fought in world war II for our freedom and in return was stripped of his dignity, rights, freedom and was forced to stay in a home away from his loved ones by a money hungry conservator who has no morals. She stripped away all of my fathers assetts, petitioned the court with lies so she could have me " his son " who had cared for him for 10 years removed from his home "that my father and I had built in 1973". Then once I was removed and my father was inpsisoned in a home against his and his familys will she sold my fathers estate. I feel very stronly that there needs to be a lot of changes in our fidiciary and probate system. We all have a moral obligation to make sure that our elders are treated dignity.Flag
