Upper Clapton Football Club is seeking to redevelop its grounds to create a 21st century facility that can serve both the rugby club and the wider community for decades to come.  Plans have been submitted to our local authority for consideration of planning permission.

The Club's current clubhouse is now over 80 years old and is increasing difficult and expensive to maintain.  Furthermore it is no longer a suitable facility from which to run and support a thriving rugby club that has been recognised by the RFU as managed in a professional manner.  Upper Clapton is one of less than 100 clubs in England to have full RFU Accreditation.

We want to modernise the facilities at UCFC to enable the continued provision of rugby in a modern, eco-friendly and safe environment for players of all ages.  Modernisation would also enable us to make those facilties available to the community, building on our already successful engagement with local schools and other sports clubs.
