   Comments: A big thank you for promising to drop hunting shows from your television listings...something, I feel, that is better late than never! I understand that the organized hunting groups have a level of power and money that the average citizen does not and they will be vigorous in their threats of boycotting, and any other ways there are, of keeping the shows on the air. I sincerely hope they do not succeed.

    Comments: Saturday morning is generally accepted as the time that the kids get to watch television, especially if the parents have worked all week and are trying to get the housework etc all caught up. Global television is on the lowest layer of cable and is available to just about everyone, thus reaching a majority of families. I for one would not appreciate my child seeing a killing show without me there to explain (how could I?). Any 'sportsman' who wants to watch hunting has an option of either subscribing to satellite systems where he/she can pick and choose, or by taping programs and playing them later. Don't destroy the joy a child feels on a day off school by polluting their entertainment with unacceptable programming3
