Name: Shawn Dittrich on Nov 27, 2012Comments: if it can let it, if everybody kept a device for even one year longer, the amount of e-waste reduced per year would be huge. People have 3-5 devices that need to be replaced every couple years not usually due to nothing more than just needing software capable of using "this years" software and apps. When we buy these devices they say they ASUS know for giving years of enjoyment from not just quality of the build but ASUS uses only the most advaced parfts and tech. in there devices. If we need to buy a new device every couple years to keep up then we should buy the ones that only last 2-3 years and save a hole lot of money, cha ching. ASUS tf 101=$400-$600 and e-cheapo (i've seen as low as $99.99 to maybe 300 and usually offer decent rebate with purchase of said e-cheapo device.Flag

Name: Vlad on Nov 28, 2012Comments: It is issues like this which allow a company like Apple to secure their market share. If Asus deems the tf101 not worth updating it will be the last Asus device I will purchase, and probably the last Android device. These devices are sexy when they come out, but if one can't expect ongoing support...Flag
