Name: Jordan on Nov 17, 2012Comments: There's plenty of devs out there in XDA who were able to make ports of Jelly Bean in the original Transformer. So it is possible, I'd get if it weren't but it is. Not pushing out this update to the first loyal customers of Asus will just lose my respect for Asus. I really like their products and innovation. But if they're going down the same road as Samsung. Then might as well find a different Android OEM as my next tablet device. Do this for us AsusFlag

Name: Andrea Tabanelli on Nov 17, 2012Comments: ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE NEW UPDATE 4.2 JB FOR YOUR DEVICE? READ HERE! A few months ago Google released 4.1.1 JB. Those of us who had a tf101 were looking forward, as you today, for the announcement of the update. And even more, were waiting for it TF101g's owners who had remained behind to an update compared to the wifi-only version and have to manage many more issues. We wouldn't have never expected that Asus could leave us behind. Moreover, in both cases, with buggy versions of ICS. But it happene d. Instead our devices can easily support 4.1.2 JB and 4.2 for sure. Devices with identical hardware have been updated. So if you don't want that this could happen to you, sooner or later, sign our petition. No matter how new your device could be and whether or not it is an Asus's device. This petition may become a milestone. Because things like that shall never happen again. Thanks for your attention. Here is the link to the petition http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/update-to-android-jelly-bean-41-for-asus-tf101/ and here is the link to our facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/232152426913288/ STAI ASPETTANDO CON ANSIA IL NUOVO AGGIORNAMENTO 4.2 JB PER IL TUO DEVICE? ALLORA LEGGI QUI!

I was saving up for the TF700 but now I may be forced to buy the Google 10" tablet. Unless "Asus" makes a sudden change in attitude, regarding their lack of concern for pushing out updates, I will no long purchase anything with the "Asus" name attached.Flag

Name: Michael Greer on Nov 18, 2012Comments: My positive experience with my Transformer 101 led me to convince a colleague (head of a high school English Department) to make his next laptop an Asus. (He did & he loves its!) My new-found Asus loyalty also led me to buy my wife a Nexus 7 (which she loves & which ironically has been upgraded to the 2nd version of Jelly Bean, while I'm waiting for the first one for my Transformer!) Finally I just now ordered an Asus Windows 8 touch screen tablet, largely due to my personal experience with the Transformer 101. Here's the bottom line: I'm loyal and vocal and have discarded my decades-old relationship with Dell computers, all because of a positive experience with the Transformer 101. However, while I've been waiting patiently for the Jelly Bean upgrade, if Asus truly refuses to provide it for the TF-101, then I will not only be deeply disappointed, but I will be reluctant to trust or recommend Asus in the future. - Mike G michaelgreer.bizFlag
