I have started this petition to try to get a proper honest service in Ireland. I pay upc for a 30mbps and yesterday my download speed was  the following:

PING 15ms download speed 0.68mbps upload speed 3.00 mbps.

 We hear of all kinds of tribunals etc; on historical problems, plus bankers, cut-backs, etc; in the media, surely someone can take the case of the dreadful broadband  service dished out by UPC  and others, as a complete rip-off. What's the government doing about this? Is there no re-dress for inaccurate advertising and charging for services that are practically non-existant !!. When a person complains it falls on deaf ears. hence this petition.  If YOU FEEL, you are being un-fairly treated with your I.S.P. (Internet Service Provider) then please sign this petition
