This is a petition to the Department of Economics and International Development to allow Philip Jones to teach an Economics of Politics (or similar) module in students\' final year. He already teaches one in the 2nd Year, and we request that he be allowed to teach one in students\' 3rd/4th years.
Currently Philip Jones is a lecturer for the Department of Economics and International Development. They will not let him teach this requested module believing he does not have the time to do so. Philip Jones, however, has stated that he very much wants to teach this module, and has been lobbying to be able to do so. This petition, by students, shows support for Mr. Jones and the module, and asks the Department of Economics to either allow Philip Jones to lecture under the Department of European Studies and Modern Languages, or simply let him teach this new module.
Ridiculous to stop him when he is clearly willing. This would be such a popular module for final year students. Just let him do it.

Phil is literally the only reason I actually show up to morning lectures. His class is the best one the department offers so let the man teach it already!
