| 10 | Brian McKenna | This is a wonderful way to honor America's First nations. By spreading the word about this important cultural event you serve as a cultural broker, helping to educate people of the colonial nation how to create a better, revolutionary world of peace and justice, in opposition to imperial war and capital accumulation. |
| 11 | Susan Balbas | Let us honor our sister Nilak who crossed over to the spirit world by contributing to her legacy of this action for Mother Earth. |

| 19 | Shannon Choneska | I will unplug everything for one day. And will walk to where I need to go unless of course I need to go to the hospital (ha!) |
| 20 | Carla Gutierrez | This is wonderful news to celebrate as teachers celebrate turn off tv week for the children, instead teachers turn to alternatives such as reading, walking, art, fun activities, now we can also turn to exercise since we all have the same problem our clothes are strinking??HaHa. I plan on getting involved and participating on this day. |

| 27 | Lon Chaney | I plan on riding around in my car all day while keeping my tv, surround sound system, computer and everything else running all day since global warming hysteria today is just like global cooling hysteria of the 1970's. Carbon has never caused the climate to change in the history of the world until Democrats decided they would rather fight an imaginary boogyman instead of terrorism. |

| 30 | Sunshine Morning | Oh, my goodness! This has been around for some time now and I do believe this is my first time hearing of this Unplug. I want to come sing a song for all of you. What are we going to do about this stone hearted government at hand? Are they not aware of the extreme dangers that we are now facing? Are they not aware of the danger of Nuclear Power and their bombs? Do not these people even care of the lively hood of all of our animals. I cry when I think of Mother Earth along with her creatures are dying. Even we as a race of people are dying. Yet people like the eugenics want to continue their stupidness. They would rather even eliminate even their own four legged creatures that surround them than to have respect for all living things. Where do we begin? To undo what has been down to the greatest beauty of all, Mother Earth. All these Nuclear bombs that have been dropped is only killing Mother Earth along with her creatures with it. All in the name of GREED! Stupid!!!Heaven is right here on Earth. Now they have damned it and is putting every living creature through hell. All for their own satisfaction and their own stupid beliefs! Do they not know that their religion is a out right lie! I guess I have said to much! Now it is time to act! |
| 31 | Elizabeth Cori-Jones | Great idea! Better than my idea of a one day general national strike with no business as usual. This has a good focus. Can you get other environmental and social justice groups to co- sponsor and support this? (Sierra Club, Natural Resources Council, Earth Justice, etc.,etc).
Also, I'd like some bumper stickers and leaflets to distribute to bicycle shops, health f ood stores, and anywhere I can in my city. (Why not get Critical Mass bicyclists to do their thing on that day?) Can you design some bumper stickers, or should I look around for a willing artist here in Gainesville, Florida? |
| 32 | STEPHEN FRANTZ | This is a small and necessary step to restructuring our thoughts about what we need to enjoy a sustainable existence with our earth. |
| 33 | Anonymous | I think we should have several Days like this!! our Earth our Home that we have lived on for thousands of years Deserves It! |

| 37 | Anonymous | Personally, I'm going to forward this to all my friends and family to spread the word. On an academia level, I'm going to get our club to print the fliers and promote the idea at all our events and other events related to environment issues. |
| 38 | Orlin Larsen | I will unplug everything. except my refriderator and house phone. And then get out the candles. |
| 39 | Elfmagic Taylor, Ms | THE LAW OF ONE
We are all One.
When one is harmed, all are harmed.
When one is helped, all are helped.
Therefore, in the name of Who I AM, and I am One with All,
I ask that only that which is the highest good of all
concerned, happen here.
I give thanks that this is done. |

| 50 | Virginia Kennedy | On October 13th, in order to honor Unplugged Day, the Lena'pe Nation of Pennsylvania will be doing a 'labor day' on the Quick Farm. The Quick Farm is a 200 acre farm deeded to the Lena'pe after its owner, Jane Quick, had a conservation easement placed on the land. Jane Quick is a descendent of Tom Quick, the notorious Lena'pe killer, and she also has Lena'pe ancestry. Deeding this land back to the Lena'pe was meant as reconciliation and a way to honor the ecological principles of Lena'pe culture. The Lena'pe labor day this year will be in honor of Unplugged Day 2007 and in will happen in solidarity with the IEN and all other peoples who are honoring the earth that day and everyday. Wanishi! Thank you! |
