Name: Onyema Uche on Oct 25, 2012Comments: THERE WAS, AND THERE STILL IS There was a country, and there is still the country. There was a war which is still on going. The difference is that NOW only one side is assaulting the other not defending. Only one side is taking heavy causa lities. There was a world that fought for justice to the holocaust victims. A world that tried war criminals in Europe. There was a world that tried Milosevic for war crimes. A world that tried the war criminals of Tutsi and Hutu, a world that tried Charles Taylor of Liberia for war crimes. The difference is that this world does not exist for Ndi Igbo(Biafra). So we must cry alone. We must endure our excruciating pain alone, be stoic in living with our sores, and be patriotic as we enslave in our country. We must provide entertainment to the world as the new gladiator with our moans and groans of pain. The world must merry on as they watch the spillage of our blood because the color is blue not red. Yes our metallic laughter is all they need to assure themselves that there is peace.Flag

The petition is caputred much of the genocidal acts against Igbo's. I support it.Flag

Name: Dr. Okwesili-eze on Oct 31, 2012Comments: Gowon and his carbinate must be charged to world court to face War Crime. There is no statue of limittation on any person or group of people that committed war crime. Also, United Nation must apologize to Igbos'. Till this momrnent Nansi are still being rounded up and charged with war crime against the Jews. Igbos' own will not be any defference.Flag

Name: Greg Ugbaja on Nov 3, 2012Comments: The Pope apologized to the world as a result of the atrocities committed hundreds of years ago during the inquisition. Nelson Mandela organised a Truth Commision which helped to heal wounds in South Africa. The world can not continue to live in denial that it looked the other way, while millions of women and children perished in former Biafran enclacve due to the blockade imposed on Eastern Nigeria. Those deaths remain a dent in the consciousness of the world and all we ask for is an acknowledgment and an apology.Flag

The IGBOS suffered from 1966 till this date, the United Nations looked on, and are still looking the other way. The North of NIGERIA is a case test. Nobody can wipe-out the IGBOS without the approval of almighty GOD.Flag

Name: Maduagwu Nkemakolam on Dec 14, 2012Comments: One cannot still understand why U.N.O did not act or condemn that act of genocide against the Igbos of Nigeria. It is not too late to act now. That inaction or condemnation could be an indication of a hidden agenda or hypocrisy on the part of some U.N. activities. This could be part of the reason Nigeria is in this mess, because the leaders since after the war had always acted with impunity, hence the high level of corruption in the high places. The leaders are not answerable to anybody. Many families up today have not recovered from the effect of that massacre. WHY DID U.N.O TURN THEIR BACK AGAINST THE IGBOS? WHY DID THE MEMBERS OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL NOT DEEM IT FIT TO SAVE THE LIVES OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN OF IGBO EXTRACTION? OR IS IT THAT WE LIVE IN THE WORLD OF DECEIT AND MAKE BELIEVE.Flag
