Comments: I agree it is unfair< not to mention stupid. I was a member for a while then quit bcus i got a job at a video store so i got free rentals so no point in paying for somthing i could get for free. now i no longer work there and netflix sends me a please come back email every couple of days but when i try they dont accept prepaid cards any more. i mean what kinda sense does that make to ask me to come back then not let me because of some new thing they came up with. netflix sucks if they dont fix this ill take my buisness to blockbuster

Comments: Blockbuster made mistakes similar to this and look at the state they are in right now. You're passing over millions of dollars a year in revenue by banning pre-paid cards.

Comments: There is no logical explanation for Netflix to not accept this form of payment. The company would still get paid.

Comments: The ban of prepaid credit cards is ridiculous. They can automatically shut your account off at the click of a mouse, why require it to be linked to you bank account ?

Comments: I can't afford sattelite or cable television. I'm also unable to have a bank account at the moment, so I'm unable to have a debit card for netflix. My only option is a prepaid credit card, which I recently found out was banned. I would guess that a great deal of the general population can't get a credit card, so why is netflix denying all these people entertainment? It doesn't make any sense and it really makes me annoyed with the company in general.

Comments: It is exactly this reason that I don't use netflix. I did years ago, but now they won't accept either one of my debit cards. They are losing out on a significant source of income by banning prepaid cards.
