    Comments: I whole heartedly agree. I recently married a man who has 2 children. The mother is collecting state help because the youngest son is handicapped and we are paying child support also. We do not recieve any help and we would love to have another child but are worried about affording another one due to the child support we pay. The money she is using to live with her boyfriend while her mother takes care of the child

    Comments: My fiancee is paying over $1,000 per month to two children and is also then asked to pay half of all expenses for eg lessons, prom dresses, doctor bills, and private schools. he has the kids three times a week and every other weekend and is feeding them also. Does this make sense. My ex husband pays his obligation to his child but not one penny more.

It will take me 15 years to pay of mostly due to the 10% interest. Where is legal help. They have gotten more than there share as I have been paying back Support for a decade. Advise please

    Comments: i with this trendella harris 5years 4year she got pregnant since we stayed together i didn't think nothing else about it my first child i was happy so we got married after that as the child gotten older she started to look like somebody i know so she was questioned she denied 3rd year in she admittied when one of her friend told her so i left later divorce her since i signed the birth certificate automatic child support i've tried to fight it i've locked up lot jobs because of it they've even take every income tax check garnish wages even to this day they take half my check right know i make 53 dollars every two weeks child want do anything period they even give me a dna test i kneed help because i afford a lawyer!

    Comments: I have my child more than my ex wife and she is still entitled to 20%. I think it is a bunch of crap that she needs the money for her own financial gain and not for the support of the child. If the child is such a financial burden on her, then why dosen't she just give me custody and she can come and see him whenever she wants.Why is it only the father that is financially responsible for the child and not the mother. We have joint custody and I feel we should share in the financial needs of the child.

    Comments: I FEEL THAT CHILD SUPPORT SHOULD BE BASED ON THE NEED OF THE CHILD, AND NOT HOW MUCH ONE MAKES. MOST OF THE TIME, WE ARE SUPPORTING THE SPOUSE OF THE CHILD'S MOTHER AS WELL. I DON'T SEE WHERE MY CHILD SUPPORT HAS BEEN SPENT ON MY CHILD AT ALL. SHE'S ALWAYS LOOKING AS IF SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING. THE LAWS ARE HORRIBLE!!!

    Comments: The mother of my child who I never married or dated seriously absconded with my child when I tried to have DNA testing performed to establish my parental rights after the mother stopped letting me see my baby. Two years ago, she came out of hiding, had me tested, and was rewarded a tremendous sum of money in retroactive support for the time for which I couldn't support my child since she was hidden from me. The judge in Knox County Tennessee also ordered me to pay an extra $8,000 for non-visitation. What's more, the sum I was ordered to pay, more than $60,000 has a 12 percent interest charge attached. My monthly payments now far exceed what I earn. Pro choice Try no choice.

    Comments: If you are concerned what the money, you are sending is being spent on maybe you should stop complaining and get custody yourself! The mother has to pay rent, light, gas, phone, and buy clothing and food for the child that she is raising and spending quality time with on all of her free time. If she takes some child, support and goes to the spa that is money being spent on your child because a happy relaxed mother is a happy relaxed well-raised child. I purpose that all absent parents pay two bills in the resident that their child resides in. This could make the deal at least 30-70 because the little as you call it unfair MONEY that is sent to the mother is not even worth half of the daily responsibility she has. The present parent must protect, educate, discipline, play psychiatrist, Nurse, accountant, tutor, warden, and Cook to a child whose father complains about having to give them money to sustain them and help their household out in any way that he can.

But iin turn my kids hate me as a result of my ex-wife. my kids live in a new house drive new cars and my ex just recently had breast implants. as well as they own a time share in Florida. so it kind of makes me wonder. my fiancee and i live on a tight budget. but no one cares about that. my kids minds were poisoned by there mother in our divorce and it is documented. and yet she got the kids cause that is where the kids wanted to be. Our court system is biased and judges women to be poor helpless souls. even if they are cheating on there spouses and were caught red handed. i caught my ex three times over the 11 years i was married to her. Yeah its a really fine system we have in Minnesota. my oldest daughter is 19 and pregnant with her second child. Makes me think my kids have a good mother. She really instilled some good values in my girls. They all have grown to be the spitting image of there mother. and yet i have to pay ungodly amounts in child support so my ex can wipe my face in it. I drive a 1996 car and just barely get by. this is not right or fair or anything else for that matter. In Minnesota the only reason they have such high child support is simply this. Number one it takes the burdon of welfare off the states back. They dont have to pay out as much. Now wouldnt you think if they gave the children to the responsible adult rather than the one that is female it wouldnt be a problem i went through this wonderful court system in 1999-2000. i will say this it made me a very outspoken person. I state my point loud and clear. because the judges in Minnesota bias there opinion's based on gender and not on facts. I could go on and on. I like you are very upset with this whole system. I was granted visitations and i dont even get that as my kids hate me as a direct result of there mother. But she cannot and will not be held responsible as all she has to do is walk in court room and lie and i am the bad guy! I give up! what is up with this Isnt this Gender discrimination You decide!

    Comments: I am required by PA state law to pay for 58% of my childrens expenses, but yet have NOT ONLY no idea where the money goes, but also am not "allowed" to use any of my three children as a tax deduction. I heard a long time ago that this sytem was put in place to prevent women from going on welfare....OBVIOUSLY this is the case, but at the epense of my (and all of our) children. What the court system has accomplished is to destroy the future of so many children by dpriving them of their fathers (both through financila, and emotional deprevation).
