Student debt is higher than credit card debt in USA. It is over one trillion dollars in 2012. Loans in default are at 76 billion according to the State Department of Education and they spent 1.4 billion trying to collect defaulted student loans.SO if our government can bail out the millionaires of WALL STREET,THE BANKS, and CAR INDUSTRY, I feel they can give a bail out to students who are having a difficult time. Instead the Congress they chase defaulted student loans and spend 1.4 billion doing it.There is no statute of limitation on collecting federally funded student loans, unlike credit card companies and mortgages which you can write off in bankruptcy.So lets limit their power to that of other lenders and business in USA. Say it by signing my petition to call for Congress to Create and Act to do this for our relief from defaulted student loan debt.
