As consumers of movie theatre entertainment, there is an ever-growing practice of creating movies in '3D format'. While theatres DO show a very limited number of showings in 2D format, the majority of showings are in 3D. On average, I have noticed consumers spent around $1-$3 PER PAIR of 3D Glasses. Upon exiting the theatres, we consumers are asked to 'recycle' and return what we have just purchased. There needs to be a law in place giving consumers the right to retain the 3D glasses we purchased and, upon returning for future engagements, movie theatres need to charge a 3D glasses 'needed' pricing and a 'No 3D Glasses Needed' price (the obvious price difference being the 3D glasses). Consumers are being 'held hostage' at the theatres for many of these, often, children-oriented movies.
