   Please leave any Comments you may have pertaining to this issue.: I have a very expensive health condition without my insurance I could not afford to buy my medications. So I had to move out of my apartment and move in with my sister to be able to keep my health insurance. My unemployment runs out at the end of September, so if they don't pass another extension I will lose my health insurance and I won't be able to buy my medications that I need. I talk to the free health clinic, but they told me they would not be able to treat me for my condition because the medication was to expension. So where does that leave people like me that need their medication to live. I quess we will just die sooner than we want to.

   Please leave any Comments you may have pertaining to this issue.: I just started Tier 1 of my unemployment and unless the extension is passed my unemployment will run out as of the end of January 2011. There will be no more tiers for me to go into because my claim is not exhausted by Nov 27 2010. I am 61 years old and will not be 62 until July so I am too young to retire. But I live in Johnstown PA and there really are no jobs here. There are not jobs for the young and age is definitely a factor. Unemployment is my only form of income and without it I can not eat or pay my bills. I was just laid off in March after working most of my life. So I am only on unemployment out of necessity. Please consider this my plea for a solution. Pass the extensions! Thank you!

I am still finding it difficult to find employment to support myself. I am trying every reputable avenue to find employment. I WANT to work. I do not want to be unemployed. This recession is extremely horrible. I have NEVER had a problem finding a job before. I and those unemployed DESPERATELY NEED the unemployment benefits extended. In a few weeks I will run out of my unemployment benefits because the EDD in my state tells me that they cannot legally Extend my Benefits until a Bill is passed by our government. It is EXTREMELY NECESSARY and IMPORTANT to approve these unemployment benefit extensions. Please help me and those that are still unemployed. We are being CRIPPLED by not getting unemployment benefits. I am struggling to find a way to pay my rent, food and monthly expenses to SURVIVE. I am very scared. I need help. Please help us. I have 4 more classes before I get my BA degree in business. I am filling out, going on and attenting as many interviews and applications as I can possibly get in my hands and no one is hiring around here. My degree will help but in mean time I am willing to take anything, contract even. No luck so far until I graduate possibly someone will hire me but in the mean time the extenstion was the only thing keeping me alive as a desperate student going on interviews and praying and hoping I land something as I am attending my last few classes before I graduate. Then I heard that the extension has stopped. This is so inhumane in the middle of winter, holidays making it even worse for hiring and yet no degree finished as of yet until April coming up in spring. In humanitys name, the people of the United States of America are asking, pleading and some beggging, to please open your hearts to please extend this extension at least just this one last time. I know quite a few people who will be running out of their benefits in the next few weeks to the next few months. How are we supposed to pay our insurance, rent, mortgage, car payments, student loans, etc. You're going to find more homeless people and more people in extreme financial difficulties if unemployment is not extended.

This change is a direct match for my current skill set. I am applying both to companies advertising and companies that are not, with little no success so far.I am also utilizing networking to the best of my ability. My current unemployment claim, ends on January 6, 2013. I firmly believe that new EUC extension benefits are needed. I cannot predict the duration of my current job search, so the EUC extensions would equalize the playing field; as time is running out, and the prospects of starting a new year, without an income, seems absolutely inconceivable to me!

Even though I am overqualified for many positions I cant seem to get hired. I have sent literally hundreds of resumes and either get no response or denied. If this unemployment system gets cut off I don't know how I will be able to make it. Neither will many others, allot of people will end up homeless or forced to move to a very small place paying rent like I do right now. Please renew unemployment for 2013 and the years to come. We cannot survive if congress does not.

It's like pulling teeth to get it in the first place & then you have to jump through all these hoops for peanuts! I'm required to attend a 4-hour reemployment session on how to conduct a job search when I took these types of classes during college & am most likely more qualified than the people running it?!?! And now they're going to put an end to extensions when it's only a small portion of what your income would be anyways?
