Underpaid Soldiers

The lowest paying NFL position player earns around $800,000 a year. For what, protecting a football and being a good football player? After serving in the US military for six years and becoming a ranking officer, they earn around $65,000 a year. Only that much for serving our country, risking their lives, and keeping us safe, without being required to serve. The NFL player makes the same amount of money in a month that a general makes in a year. But what if famous athletes who have money to spare, use some of their income to help pay for soldiers. Imagine if all the athletes donate a little bit, then we could pay our soldiers so much more for their hard work.
