The administration of the University of Chicago is considering to get rid of our cherished uncommon application and substitute it for the generic common application. As students and alumni of the University, we feel that it is unacceptable for the University to get rid of one of its greatest traditions; a tradition that all of us have participated in to attend the University and one that has defined the student body. It is imperative that we tell the administration that we are against this proposal! Please sign this petition and tell everyone you know to sign this as well. If we can get the student body and alumni to demonstrate their opposition, hopefully we can prevent the administration from committing a terrible mistake.
