Students are paying thousands of dollars for REQUIRED meal plans that are not accommodating to many lifestyles. Each meal averages out to be about 12 dollars per swipe, in terms of each meal. One missed meal is lost money that can not be considered "roll over" meal swipes or refundable at any cost. Students are going hungry all over campus for multiple reasons such as: poor class scheduling, jobs, heavy work load, and school involvement.
