Players of the IBUYPOWER squad, most of them being young and immature decided to throw an unimportant game. They stated that they were willing to do anything for atleast a FAIR punishment. Valve, however, decided a permanent ban was completely fair.

The young iBP players' career was ruined. All of these talented players go to waste. Valve, at the time, didn't even have a baseline for the consequences of fixing a match.
