Comments: I am a former student at UMB and an elected member of the Student-Faculty Government. I am appalled at the undemocratic and unwarranted actions taken against the ISO. This is an action not only against one organization but also against the rights of the entire student body at a public university that claims to be for justice for all.

Comments: This is a ludicrous assault on free speech. I came to this university with higher expectations.

Comments: lift onerous restrictions regarding projection of fund expenditures and posting of flyers; erect more B-boards on which to flyer; stop persecuting ISO or risk a suit by the ACLU; is UMB truely a university or a tool of the 1%?

Comments: I find it very disturbing that the administration at UMass Boston is taking steps to discourage political activism and dissent on campus. I plan to do all I can to make sure that faculty, students, and staff at universities around the country know about the situation and speak out in support of the UMass Boston ISO and other student radicals who are or may be affected by current UMass policies.

Comments: The ISO plays an instrumental role to political organizing and awareness at UMass Boston, as well as provides a political framework from the left that is necessary for a full range of political ideas on the campus. Please provide the organization with the ability to utilize the funding that is accessible to all other organizations, to allow them to continue organizing, and to not limit their abilities to promote within the UMass Boston community.
