Comments: I was a student at UMB last year. I didn't care for the socialists until I found out recently that they were ISO but in my time at UMB I never saw them do anything inappropriate.

Comments: I support the wonderful passion the ISO represents at U Mass Boston- what a shame it would be for the school to not support such a group

Comments: There are a whole bunch of posters for commercial services not affiliated with the university posted on campus and these vendors don't have to limit themselves to 60 posters. There shouldn't be any restrictions on student postings or student speech!

Comments: I am a 1988 graduate of UMB, now Professor of English at the University of Vermont. I could never have attended UMB if it had not been for the vibrant student activism of the late 1960s and early 1970s that removed tuition and admissions barriers so working-class and minority students could attend our public universities. Today student activists like those in the ISO are urgently needed to win back the right to accessible, affordable college for all.

Comments: What UMass is doing is squelching any alternatives, resistance against this capitalistic system and the fact that funds and effort are being.put to suppress the UMass ISO is not only wasting funds but very oppressive, even if it is a private institute.
