Name: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2012Comments: The new route makes needless and time consuming diversions to serve the train station (when it was only a few minutes walk from O'Connell Crescent previously) and the loop from Roches St to Sarsfield St and back when returning to Raheen. These needless delays are contributing to the problems - from Roches st it could turn down O'Connell st and serve Raheen directly without getting caught in the city centre traffic. It would not make much different for the sarsfield st stop to be redirected to roches st. It is only a few minutes walk but could save 5-10 minutes.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2012Comments: 10000 students and 2500 staff and a non functioning bus system. Its ridiculous. Please put in place a proper system that runs every 15 minutes. I can handle slightly longer transit times but can not use a service where I have no idea when I will get to work on time.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2012Comments: As a student, I am trying to be both financial and eco-friendly by taking the bus however, I have found this to be excruciatingly difficult. Having lived in Dublin, Galway and Cork at numerous stages, the bus service in Limerick is by far the worse I have experienced. On occasion, I have spent anything up to an hour waiting for a bus to the university. Many times, I have choosen to walk rather than wait in frustration. The bus from the city centre to the university is one of the busiest routes and I can not understand why there is a delay, or complete disregard for this service by authorities. Furthermore, while I understand this is beyond the structural timetabling issues, I have found bus drivers to be rude, abrupt and dismissive in providing information about the route and the journey time.Flag
