Name: Aaron Carnell on May 14, 2007Comments: I think we should pull out because the eurovision is all about politics, and favourtism. The true acts never win, because it's all down to the same countries voting for each other, (ie Finland, Norway, and Sweeden) our country should not be humiliated any longer. Altough I thank Malta for giving us the highest mark of this year.Flag

Name: Anonymous on May 14, 2007Comments: im sorry, but there really is no point in us entering anymore if all the eastern european countries are just going to vote for their neighbours!! Even if freddie mercury came back to life and represented United Kingdom at the eurovision we would still have no chance of winning!! Its really not fair. I mean come on, this year we had an EXCELLENT song and we came second from bottom. Everyone would remember Scooch's song, but come on, do you really remember Lituania Hungary Belarus Exactly... they were rubbish songs but they still beat us just because their neighbours voted for them. United Kingdom, France, Spain and Germany are the only countries that vote properly, and look at our scores this year - RUBBISH! I say next year these four countries - the countries that put in the most money yet dont get good scores- pull out... then the eastern european countries would regret voting for their neighbours! One suggestion i have is perhaps using a jury like they used to. Then we would get real scores from real music know-alls. We should pull-out of this unfair competition until something is done to make the competition fairer.Flag

Maybe if we pull out and don't put any money towards the event. The Western's won't be able to afford to run the event which means NO MORE EUROVISION !!! They'll miss us then wo't they !!!!Flag

Name: Mark on May 15, 2007Comments: Hi everybody! I' found this site on youtube well it's not so simple imo (in my opinion and so on the following) - rules are out-of-date : selection structure and "voting quantity" as well - walls are still standing / mental distances and the way of thinking and the west is at least so blamable (guilty) as the east e.g.:how many years did it take the serbian war and it was the US that stopped raging... we live in Europe all together, we should care about each other a bit more still west looks at the east as a profit-taking area....hmmm on the other hand the west is "full" of workers from east their votes made this result very short something like this and one more thing: Don't turn back, the way left behind is known, but ahead is just possibility.Let's make the possibility come true. best wishes from Hungary!! even if you don't agree, please try some days to watch things from more and more point of viewsFlag

Name: Stewart Davies on May 15, 2007Comments: The Block voting in Eurovision has got alot worse in recent years and it's not only the UK that suffers, other countries like Germany, France and Spain all put alot of money into the contest and still get relegated to the bottom of the final standings by the neighoring voting done by countries like Greece, Cyprus, Latvia and Belarus. I hear Ireland aren't entering next year due to the shambles of the voting period and I think that the UK along with the other big 4 countries should do the same if the EBU don't stand in and do something about it!Flag
