The UK faithully enters the Eurovision song contest year after year, but all of the voters around the world judge us on politics so we never do very well! We put lots of money into the contest every single year - but we get no thanks!!! Lets pull out and then they wont have very much money to run the contest, then they\'ll appreciate us!

I have watched the Eurovision for numerous of years, and have enjoyed until the last 4 or 5 years...Eastern European countries are block voting and we are judged on politics...just pull out UK!

Like so many other people here I have been a huge fan of the Eurovision song contest for many years, but last night was just a complete farce. Andy's song was a good song and he's a great entertainer, there is no way he should have been at the bottom!I can't see how it will ever be anonymous and therefore we should withdraw, maybe start our own Western Europe version, lets leave the practically daily expanding eastern block to it.

Yes, lets leave!! Western European countries have no chance of winning anymore, we should pull out and let Eastern European countries fund it themselves!! It's all political tosh now. Instead of wasting our money, spend it on something worthwhile. Please, just let Eurovision die!!

I ,like many other of the british,wonder why we still bother taking part in the eurovision and remain one of the main funders of eurovision. I myself believe that the western countries should pull out of the ESC and withdraw all funding until the Eurovision voting methods are changed to prevent former USSR countries from voting for their neighbours . I know Sir Terry agrees with me and the bbc should too.
