Comments: I admonish the Dutch and British Governments, PLEASE DO NOT send this poor man back to the oppressive regime in Iran, back to his certain death. To do so would make both governments complicit in his execution. In the name of humanity and common decency, please grant this man the asylum he so richly deserves. What if it were your son or daughter, would you want them dead because of who they are

Comments: I am not a gay person. I am a person. I am keenly interested in justice and fair treatment for all people regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexuality. To force this young man back to the UK and thence to Iran to face arrest and worse is a travesty of justice and fairness.

Comments: How many more innocent fellow homosexuals is Iran going to execute just for their sexuality. If we in the west don’t protest, who will hear their cries of help It is but by the chance and the roll of the dice, that we ourselves were not born in their shoes. The first definition of the word “charity” is simply “love”. This is the impulse that seems crucially missing from the 21st Century Britain. Please don’t let Britain send another man to torture, and execution for being gay. I implore you. I think I may have made a typo in the first line of this link, where I say the case has "had too much international attention." What I meant to say was although it has had media coverage and been brought to the attention of the Iranian authorities, it needs now, for that fact alone, needs more international attention.

Comments: What kind of world do we live in when a young man is refused refugee status by two splendid nations who supposedly champion such cases and is sent to his death by torture in Iraq Do we really need their oil that badly

Comments: If the UK allows this crime to happen, they are essentially saying that the life of a gay man is worth less than that of any other political refugee. I would like to add my voice to the many calling for refugee status for this young man.

Comments: It would be barbaric and inhumane to the extreme to send a young man back to a country that will torture and execute him simply because he loves men. I was under the mistaken impression that the UK was a civilized country. Was I so wrong Don't send this man back to die. Have the decency not to do that.
