Name: Averil Booth on Mar 2, 2011Comments: I was horrified after seeing the Gaslands documentary.Beautiful landscape will be ravaged but more importantly, the possibility of deadly chemicals seeping into our drinking water. Cuadrilla cannot say that this will never happen. What about the terrible loss of life at Abbeystead? I was informed by a Councillor that the produced water will be pumped into chambers at Preston pumping station. What is going to happen to it then. Will this water stay there forever or are Cuadrilla saying that these deadly chemicals will be filtered out? The landscape will be ravaged and this could well destroy the tourist industry. Lancashire County Council have kept very quiet about this matter. Nobody seems to know anything about the shale gas drilling. I think this magtter should be brought up at the next Forum meeting in Poulton, and also at Fylde's meeting (if they have one). People should be made aware of what could happen, before it is too late. Are you a UK citizen?: United KingdomFlag

Name: Dr Jane Brunning on Mar 15, 2011Comments: We need to halt shale gas drilling now. The risks are too great - and this Govt have pledged to be the greenest government ever, which begs the question why they are allowing a process which will increase methan emissions & other gases known to exacerbate climate change. Are you a UK citizen?: United KingdomFlag

Name: Dawn Taylor on Mar 26, 2011Comments: I cannot believe nor understand people allowing this to happen - the short, medium and long-term effects of their actions could indeed put an end to life on this planet - for no other reason than of greed. We have at our disposal other means of obtaining energy. How dare they put claim to "owning" the earth and its natural resources and exploit them in the way that they do. I have recently looked at J.T Protocol and their way of utilising waste and creating more energy for the earths grid - and also eliminating the potentially dangerous land fill sites... why do the public not know of this? Are you a UK citizen?: United KingdomFlag

Name: Dawn on Apr 14, 2011Comments: Sadly, this is going to affect us on a worldwide scale - America - now in 30 states, Australia and Europe. The earth surface will be like a sieve - so many holes, so deep into the ground causing immense damage - not just from toxic chemicals but the vibration from the hydraulic fracturing. Water - a vital component to support life on this earth is devalued by the greedy, self serving, short sighted individuals who are promoting this as a means of energy resource. There are ways of obtaining energy, not just from wind and solar. Look at JT PROTOCOL - and see what Julian Parry has to say on waste management and how his invention can produce 30% more energy to the earth's grid. He provides a solution to help the earth LIVE - these people? are creating problems which are in essence EVIL - the exact opposite of what he is trying to achieve. Spell the word live backwards and you will see the word evil. Are you a UK citizen?: United KingdomFlag
