   Comments: You just don't get it, do you The world needs 87 million barrels of oil a day and is producing only 85 million barrels a day. The price of oil is increasing because we don't have enough oil. The Government can do nothing about this. No one can do anything about it. Soon the price of oil will go through the roof and you will then look back and realise how cheap it is today. Soon after that there will be NO petrol at all, then what will you do

   Comments: The real issue is charging 17.5% VAT on the price of fuel AFTER the duty has been added. We therefore pay tax on the duty! How mad is that

    Comments: The government is benefiting from the high cost of fuel through windfall taxes. These are hard times for ordinary members of the public. The government should help alleviate the financial strain by reducing tax on fuel.
