Name: Eugene Ward on Dec 29, 2009Comments: We have been attending the Uhuru markets from the beginning and enjoy the unique atmosphere the market has nurtured and developed. I notice that unlike many open air markets people come to this market and linger to socialize. We have discovered the neighborhood through the market and as a result have enjoyed many of the local restaurants. We would not have been aware of the restaurants w/o first coming to this market.Flag

Name: Bridget Finnegan on Nov 27, 2010Comments: This is a great event for the entire community. It is a rare opportunity to be able to purchase unique items from local vendors, it encourages conversation among people that too infrequently mingle, and it adds flavor and enjoyment to the neighborhood. The loss of this event would be a shame.Flag
