Comments: One of the great traditions of college football. It would make for a much more emotional game. I'm definitely in favor of it.

Comments: This would seem to be a no-brainer. The schools want it, the jerseys are as different as night and day so there's no "confusion," and it hurts no one to do it. Frankly, I can think of no reason NOT to do what people are asking for. I remember when the usc-UCLA game had the colored jerseys for both sides-- I was a UCLA student then-- and it really made the game even more special. Let's do it. Way to go, whoever it is that started this petition.

Comments: There is nothing that truly stands as a voice of negative connotation when you discuss the choice of allowing these two great institutions of the collegiate sports to don their home jerseys when commencing in battle with each other. It harkens to better days when amateur sports were as pure as we should yearn for them to be today and hope for them to be in the future. It desinates this historic and illustrious rivalry as a game to showcase all that is right and good in collegiate sports. In the case of football, the ability for both teams to wear their home jerseys signifies so much more, both for the players who will count these wars as the most anticipated and rewarding events of their lives as athletes as well as the fans who will forever identify with one side or the other and will carry the identiy of those colors to their graves as the symbols they hold true and good. Let USC and UCLA relive the rich tradition that made these games so great, for the benefit is too much to ignore. Humbly Submitted, Bryan P. Douglass Associate Editor - RotoTimes.com

Comments: I recall going to the L.A. Colosseum as a child and experiencing the greatness firsthand of players such as Anthony Munoz, Ricky Bell, John Sciarra, Ronnie Lott, Jerry Robinson, Kenny Easley, Vince Evans and several Tuiasosopos. Both teams home uniforms were/are among the most striking in all of college football and to see them both on display at the annual rivalry game was something to behold. Neither team could claim home field advantage then at the Colosseum, nor can either claim it now at the Rose Bowl. Restore the tradition of home uniforms for both USC & UCLA for the big game! It's just not the same without the powder-blue & the cardinal red together under the sea of emerald-regardless of venue.
