Last year, we discussed the possibility of holding the recitals in the Triskel or, if that wasn't feasible, the Pavillion. These performance areas are much nicer both aesthetically and acoustically, lending a professional air to the university's activities in the city. While we may not like to discuss this often, we are in direct competition with CIT as the other prominent music college in the city and, with their annual practicals being held in the Pavilion, have somewhat of a responsibility to measure up in this regard.

Please sign this petition if you would prefer to not have your recital in Cyprus Avenue this year. Students not performing in recitals this year, but who would also like to see these performances take place in a different venue are also welcome to sign.
