A Vital Respite service for Disabled Children, that helps support vulnerable families with severely disabled Children, by providing a night or two's break a month from the demands of full time care, has been the target by Vale of Glamorgan Council for the social services funding cut, with the threat of further cuts to come in the new financial year!

 The most vital service that Ty Robin provides has been the MAIN target for these cuts. The service HAS BEEN, with effect from 14th October, severely reduced from being open 7 nights a week to only 4, affecting how many families will be able to access this service, some family's respite had been CANCELLED!

 I'm hoping to raise awareness of this terrible decision by the Vale of Glamorgan council, which takes away already struggling parents support, which is needed to stop these families reaching crisis point.

 I realise cuts are being introduced everywhere, but why are the vulnerable being targeted.......does the government know....or do they just not CARE how their policies are affecting the quality of life of disabled children and their families?????
