Comments: I have given up coming to twickenham simply because of the incapability of the station to deal with the rugby crowds. I think if nothing is done people visiting for the RWC will get the wrong impression of, what is, in fact one of the best railways systems in the world

Comments: I fully support the development and believe the works should start without further delay. I believe the proposals present a sustainable development for the station, particularly in commercial terms which is really the only way to get this done by 2015.

Comments: I attended the Autumn international against Australia and queued for over an hour before I could get to the staion and actually get on a train. This is unacceptable for an international stadium and will be shameful if not addressed before RWC 2015.

Comments: I agree with this petition 100%. Rail travel to and from Twickenham is impacted significantly by the poor condition of the station at Twickenham and should be addressed

Comments: Twickenham is a world class stadium which hosts world class events. It's nearest station, however, is in desperate need of improvement. It is the first and last impression for most visitors to Twickenham - it is simply not good enough in this modent era. Compared to the stations at Wembley and the Olympic Park it is out of date and woefully inadequate. Visitors to the Rugby World Cup in 2015 deserve better.

Comments: As one of the greatest sporting events in the world that a country can host you have to have not only for the fans but for the local residents an infastructure that can manage so many people seemlesley so the events all go as smoothly as possible without impacting on the movements of locals plus the safety side as even now it can be quite precarious managing the departure of 82000 fans safely

Comments: Whenever I come down to Twickenham for a six nations match, the day is spoilt because of the long wait in massive crowds trying to get on a train. Fortunately, everything is good humoured and everyone is patient. However, if it was a soccer crowd, they wouldn't take kindly to being treated like cattle and wouldn't put up with it. Things would soon change then ! I've been to the new Wembley and everything runs smoothly and efficiently there.
