Fix the Towson University Parking Problem!

60 Signatures Goal: 100

It is ridiculous that commuters to Towson University in Maryland are forced to drive around for over an hour to find a parking spot. If a parking spot can't be found a student has two options. 1) Go home and miss class and the possibly of having a grade reduction because of an absence, or 2) park in a spot that is not authorized for commuters and receive a insanely large $75 fine. By signing this petition you agree that action needs to be taken. First, more space should be available to commuters who have a right to be able to get to class on time. Second, the fines for parking in a wrong spot are too extreme. A new system for tickets should be put into place. Maybe some of the 45.4 million dollars that is being poured into the highly opposed Towson Center area addition should be considered for a new parking garage and/or lot. Please sign if you agree and any comments for the administration or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The parking deck in front of the CFA is a MAD HOUSE. I paid for a parking pass and now I am forced to walk most days. Completely ridiculous.
