Paula Lotz | I had a home in Tuolumne County for years and I have watched this river and I am shocked at the decline in the fish populations. I currently live in Monterey County and have watched the Carmel River have devastating results from diversion of water. Conservation and recycling is the only way to protect the river. It should be mandatory or the state will impose a cease and desist order on the river as they have done for the Carmel River.

Steve Pursell | Let's please not drain the last river, kill the last wild fish. Especially not to water our gardens of plants not suited to the beautiful long dry summers which we enjoy so much.
Anonymous | I hope that there will be measures to discourage water consumption by our great American lawns, and a public education campaign about water conservation.

Brenda Hillman | how much more of our precious, life-saving water for golf courses?
Terese Lawler | Water conservation is simple and effective. We must all use less water - lawns and golf courses should use recycled water or better yet - replant your lawn with native grasses!

| 420 | Elizabeth Sarmiento | Thank you so much for working hard on behalf of those who do not have a voice such as the fish and other species. At the end by opposing the diversion of the Tuolumne River, you're not only protecting the health of its surrounding ecosystem but also the health of all of us. There is no need to divert the water from Tuolumne!!!

Connie Axelrod | The Tuolumne River should not have any more water diverted from it. The fish poplulation and other species have already been seriously impacted. Please do not let this happen even further.
