Save Spring Training in Tucson

The petition

For the last fifty-five years the Old Pueblo has been blessed to call itself a spring training home to major leauge baseball. Every March fans come from all over the country and world to enjoy the excitement of hearing the first crack of the bat and the beginning of a new Major League Baseball Season. Tucson has been fortunate to be a part of this great tradition but the future is grimm if we don't act soon. The three teams based in Tucson is going to be reduced to two by 2009 and this could open the door for the other two teams to up and leave if something is not done. Public supported is needed to show the decision makers that this is an important community
