JS | I am a 76 year old lady and the youngsters need these facilities to keep them off the streets.
Kim Todd |
Mary | I don't even like football but the town needs this for the children and adults of the area.
James Lodge | Grass roots has to be given this kind of support, where will the national team be in 10-15 yrs without foundations for the future, being a football coach since 96 i understand how hard it can be and how rewarding it is when people move onwards and upwards, I cant see 1 negative that accualy holds any weight apart from the obvious " i dont want it"
roy jones | lets keep the football going

Gerard Gordon | A project like this can only benefit the community.
Angela | A must for the town!
Ian | We need these facilities!

Dr A. P. West | It would be good for all and anything that helps develop sport in Trowbridge and the nearby villages can only be good
Wayne Rooney | Cant wait to play here, let it go ahead!!!
Anonymous | Since the demise of the old ground there is a lack of facilities for a very good football club. There is a lot of interest for football in Trowbridge and it's about time we gave the players the recognition and tools for that job.
Martin Otterwell |
Alan Haines | Alot of work has gone on behind the scenes, and on the pitch. Its about time the club and people of Trowbridge were rewarded.

Anonymous | These sort of facilities are crutial for adults and youths alike. They are a must for the community, everybody will benefit!

Keith Neville | I believe this development and the facilities it provides will be of huge benefit to the people of Trowbridge and the surrounding area. It will also provide the basis for the football club to progress and flourish, enhancing the repute of Wiltshire's County Town.
Charles Neville | This development will be of great benefit not just to Trowbridge but the whole of West Wiltshire. As a supporter of nearly 92 years of age who first visited Frome Road in the early 50s, I sincerely hope to see it enable the football club to provide a centre of sporting excellence for the young people of the area. This, in turn, will guarantee that TTFC once again becomes a force in non-league football.
Marilyn Gibbins |
Joy Neville | This stadium is a vital step towards regneneration of the Town. As a regular visitor from out of the area, not just a loyal supporter, - my husband grew up here - I see an area where young people have little else to do but loiter in the stairwells of the town centre. The stadium and its facilities will provide an excellent focus for renewed interest in sport and pride in Trowbridge. I urge the Planning Committee not to allow those with outmoded prejudice against football and its supporters to lose Trowbridge one of its greatest opportunities for nurturing its Youth, ever presented.

| 234 | Patricia Bartholomew | The County town of Wiltshire should have football club which can climb back to the division it used to be in. It should be supporting its youngsters and Trowbridge Town F.C. offers football from a very young age through to adult players.
The supporters are not a rowdy bunch and will certainly not cause any problems in the area of the stadium. This facility is a must in Trowbridge. |
jamie dean |
Gemma Nokes | As someone whom is about to move to the area I fully support this proposal.
Alexander Lawless |
Jerry Clark |
Ginny Sherman | Trowbrduge is the County Town and its leisure facilities are sadly very poor. It is about time Trowbridge had a decent lesiure centre not to mention a decent home for the Football Club!
Ginny Sherman | Trowbridge is the County Town and its leisure facilities are sadly very poor. It is about time Trowbridge had a decent lesiure centre not to mention a decent home for the Football Club!
Andrew Lye | TTFC have spent years looking for a suitable site and this opportunity will provide facilities for the Club and many individuals within the Trowbridge and District area.
Steve Osborne | I watched TTFC in the eighties 'glory years'. The club needs this stadium to realise it's potential. More importantly the town needs these facilities, NOT MORE HOUSES! Give our children something to do- something they can be proud of.
Alistair Copland | The supporters of this historic club have refused to let it fade away and it has proudly represented the town for many years - it is time the district and county councils supported the club and recognised the significant benefits a facility like this would provide to its community. The dedication of the people who have worked so hard for this club must be rewarded .
sally hornby | This would be an amazing opportunity for the county town of wiltshire. There is no reason why this applications should not go ahead. The use of the land would be great.

Anonymous | As an old supporter of Town when at Frome Road it would be great to see the club have a chance to rise again, It needs a prmanent home in the town
wayne drury | give my son a chance too play great football in a state of the art stadium do something right for a change and put back what you took away from the community.

Dr. Roger Smith | I supported TTFC in the 1960s @ 1970s and was terribly sad to se the loss of the Frome Road ground. This proposal is welcome and long overdue.
