Honorary Degrees For TSU Freedom Riders

The petition

On March 28, 2008, the Tennessee Board of Regents denied a request to grant honorary degrees to 14 TSU students who were UNJUSTLY EXPELLED for participating in the Freedom Rides of 1961.

Our goal is to persuade the Board of Regents to REVERSE this decision and formally recognize these HEROES with the honorary degrees that they deserve!

WE NEED AS MANY SIGNATURES AS POSSIBLE BEFORE JUNE 26, 2008.
