Name: Anonymous on Nov 15, 2007Comments: I paid EA a subcription for each of my accounts, and earned my game money under the terms of the EA rules, and now EA is taking my months of game earnings away so they can "double dip" -- make me pay AGAIN to get the money back. With all the hocus pocus the devs are doing, it does seem they could have marked the game money so it couldn't be sold back to EA, and let us keep game money for our own use, and for casino play, and other fun things.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 17, 2007Comments: If only EA could give a crap -- but you know they won't. They want our hard earned game money so they can squeeze rl cash from us so we can try to enjoy the game they are ruining. It will be a show room for their other games, and our dear TSO will be just a probably soon neglected side show. Well, everyone will want to play EA other games when TSO will be nothing but being poor as dirt unless you want to fork over cash.Flag

Name: Leeanne Studzinski on Nov 22, 2007Comments: Those of us that have worked our sims hard to earn what we have find the wiping of our cash unaccpetable and unfair. There should have been a partial wipe of excess cash after the exploit was found and stopped but not a total wiping of everyones simoleans.Flag

Name: Dali on Nov 22, 2007Comments: It took months and months of spending time in TSO for me to accumulate my fake riches. It was great having a casino -- an expensive occupation -- and being able to host fun events. I was too poor to participate in the so-called "Thanksgiving Parade" in TC3. No way can I afford to build and furnish a "float" with the paltry amount of money I have there. No, the days of being able to spend money freely for fun, to spontaneously furnish a room or rebuild or relocate to a holiday 'hood -- those days are gone with this wipe and the "new economy." Why this game has to morph into a representation of the real life rat race escapes me. I prefer a fantasy life, thank you! It is too late to change EA's mind, I guess, but I'm signing anyway. It should be known that not all of the "loyal" players are in favor of this wipe. I never cheated, and yet I'm being punished more than most cheaters ever were. Not only unfair, it is demoralizing. It is said this is for the best -- well, I'll wait and see. I kinda doubt history will bear it out that the wipe was necessary and good for the game.Flag

Name: Vaughn R Perkins on Nov 24, 2007Comments: Having spent the past two years legally obtaining & spending my own rl cash to acquire my simoleans,I feel that EA is unjustly wiping away my simoleans. I therefore enter my name on this petition as a means of protest against your lack of concern as it relates to the pleas of long time EA customers.Flag

Name: LS on Nov 25, 2007Comments: As much as we know Vaughn agreed to not bring RL money into this (through the ToS).............you, EA, must remember that HUNDREDS of us sold our rares to the bottors for a lot of simoleans. I blame YOU for not having the wipe the moment the exploit was fixed. Again - idiots.Flag

Name: Qute Pi on Nov 30, 2007Comments: I wish this would matter...but it doesn't. Since this game isn't the sims online and now EA Land, I should be happy we get to keep everything else. Like others I earned my money and I believe had EA done their job in the first place we wouldn't be in this mess. So 5 years from now expect to be in the same boat...because EA only cares about themselves. Ea Land will have the same bugs the sims online has had for 2 years, a name change doesn't always make it better... Anyway Im addicted to this stupid game so here I am going with the flow! :PFlag
