I bet he never saw that one coming. This is institutional racism at its best. These people have just moved racism to another level. Worst thing is they think we are stupid enough to buy it. My family has 5 members. Make no mistake, we will move with him. But we will not move quietly. David Llyod Milton Keynes will regret the day they let Daniel go. We are prepared to scream from our roof top. My daughter has made so much progress with Daniel. So dedicated to his work. We love Daniel and my kids and I are not embarrassed to say it out loud. no coach works harder. I believe are relationship with Daniel is like a triangle. One side is Mucha, another side is Daniel and the other is is us parents. if one of those sides does not work then everything crashes, but our triangle I am happy to say has stood firm. Because of Daniel we actually feel that road to Wimbledon is possible . KEEP DANIELFlag

Name: Richard R Byers on Jan 7, 2013Comments: To whom it may concern with regards to the contract renewal of Daniel. the tennis coach at David Lloyd. Dear sir or madam, Whoever thought of not renewing the contract if this Idea was thought through then the Idea was & is a grave mistake ! For the length of time I have been a member at DLL Daniel has been a valued and extremely hard working member of the coaching staff, besides being the most approachable and conscientious of all the coaches there. His attitude and person ability makes him a credit to tennis coaching . I must say I think that his loss at DLL tennis would be irreplaceable and a huge loss to all would be tennis players and members of the Milton-Keynes club. Please look upon this decision if indeed it is one to that will be acted upon as so many club members, aspiring players and indeed existing improver players would be deeply, deeply upset if he were to made to leave the staff by not having his contract renewed. In fact I am sure there are other coaches at the club who would not be missed instead, unlike Daniel. One would hope that Daniels smile, skill, presence, contribution and positive attitude to tennis at DLL will continue for as long as he is able. Yours sincerely Richard R. ByersFlag

Name: Linda on Jan 7, 2013Comments: Hopefully the right person at David Lloyd will read this. Daniel is such a special coach and is the last coach that should be leaving. I have had lessons with Daniel over the years and he has always pushed my further than any other coach. The lessons are always a total pleasure and he is the most friendliest coach at David Lloyd. This decision is crazy and i don't want him to go. If this is not overturned i will join the group and approach head office, the press and the local MP this is a crazy decision and David Lloyd isnt taking its members into account. Wake UP DAVID LLOYD and think of all the children that aspire to be Pros dont let him GOFlag

Name: Karl on Jan 8, 2013Comments: Just heard about the crazy decision to out the best tennis coach at David Lloyd Milton Keynes and not renew his contract. " I know lets get rid of Daniel and take a new guy on with no clients , That will be good for David Lloyd Milton Keynes and there members " Idiots Idiots Idiots. We must have some sad guys running the show in MK.!!!!!!!!!! I have a suggestion that will go down well with the members, first let the members vote if Daniel should go. Secondly if there isn't room for the current level of tennis coaches lets have a 5 set match between Daniel and Kevin for the last spot that members can pay to see. That would be a sell out. Can you not see you are playing with members down time the part of the week we look forward to, what we go to work for and put up with all the stress. And for a couple of guys to take Daniel away from us all without going the extra mile to secure his services is criminal and not in the members best interest at ALL ! If he goes so will I. please think carefully and try and sort this mess out THIS GUY IS WORTH THE EFFORT Karl one unhappy member :o(Flag

Would any benifit be gained by the club making public the reasons for this proposed drastic course of action.Flag

Name: Kevin Gallagher on Jan 9, 2013Comments: I would like to express how disappointed I am to hear that Daniel is not to remain at the club due to his contract not being renewed, I find it unbelievable that David Lloyd would not retain a coach of Daniels caliber and experience, I know a considerable number of young talent rely on Daniels wealth of knowledge and expert coaching skills, and on a personal level he was instrumental in me winning the Vets club championship 2012, and many adults find him invaluable in their quest to improve their tennis. I urge David Lloyd to reconsider their decision and keep Daniel as he a valuable asset to our club. Kevin GallagherFlag

Name: Dermot Weir on Jan 9, 2013Comments: I fully support this petition. Daniel is an excellent coach and a very valuable asset to the David Lloyd club. I and many other members have made a considerable investment in improving our tennis by having coaching sessions with Daniel. This will be lost if Daniel is not retained as a coach. I will, if Daniel"s contract is not renewed I will therefore have to consider whether I want to continue my membership with David Lloyd Milton Keynes.Flag

He enjoyed the tennis and I think that Daniel played a important role in making him more confident. Since then Thomas has been having lessons with Daniel. We do not use any of the other facilities on a regular basis. Should Daniel be forced to leave I will seriously consider ending our family membership.Flag

He has inspired many to play sport seriously and made it fun to play tennis and be a member. Do not let one of the few assets DL has go.Flag

Name: Panisa Butzelaar on Jan 12, 2013Comments: I have been a member at DL for 7 years. 4 years ago I decided to try tennis. I had never played before, and thought lessons were in order. I spoke to one of the DL PTs. I asked him who was the best coach, serious, and professional. His recommendation was Daniel. "No question". 4 years on, and I stil train with Daniel. Through Daniel, tennis has become part of my life. I have spent thousands on my lessons with Daniel, and have enjoyed them immensely. I have now been introducing my twin 4 year olds to tennis lessons, and the love seeing Daniel. This DL decision is baffling. Surely they would survey the end users of the service, also known as their members. If in the end, DL follows through with this, my family of 4 will be looking elsewhere. Every action has a reaction. People vote with their feet. Pus will be walking out the door.Flag

Name: Vlad Musin on Jan 14, 2013Comments: I started with tennis when i was 8 i had two coaches in the country that am from (Slovakia), i had coaches in Russia and Kazakhstan which were high level coaches but i never had such a good coach like Daniel. He was my coach for last 2 years and my game improved much more in 2 years then in 7 years working with other coaches in different countries. Daniel is best coach David Lloyd could have and probably ever had so to not renew his contract will be big step back and DL could lose a lot members including me because some of us just come to DL because of him. He done a lot for DL and made some good players in past few years and he made a good name for DL this just says that he has a lot experience and he knows how to make really good players, there is not any reason why he should not continue to coach members in DL.Flag

Name: Robin Rhodes on Jan 21, 2013Comments: A truly un-British decision. A group of second rate nasty, sneaky, low life David Lloyd employees gang up to push out a truly remarkable coach. Shame on you. Over many years Daniel has done fantastic work and helped my disabled child to achieve remarkable results through patience and understanding. We are all diminished by this decision. Hopefully, the commercial ramifications will lead to the demise of the stupid people who have got rid of him.Flag
