Second Battalion Truck Compamy 15 is slated for closure on July 1, 2012. Just to give you some insight, this particular station is located in an extremely challenged area in Baltimore City. Gun violence in this area ranks highest in the city, many residents are without power, which causes them to utilize extreme (illegal) means for heat/lighting and the health disparities continues to increase. Those are just some of the things that begs for this particular station to remain open as fire stations are first responders on these matter.
